Aren’t summer Mondays the best? Especially because all summer long we are bringing you awesome posts every Monday and Thursday as part of our Summer Blog Hop. We have tons of DIY inspiration coming!
Today, Victoria at Dazzled While Frazzled is sharing how to make a patriotic banner from paper bags and napkins. The banner turned out so cute – complete with patriotic bows. I love when DIY projects use items for something other than their intended use.
So, if you have leftover napkins from your Memorial Day party, you can most definitely use them to make a 4th of July banner. If not, lots of craft stores have their patriotic things on sale – and the dollar store is my favorite place to find crafty goodies.
Not only is this banner perfect for 4th of July parties, it also looks gorgeous on the mantel. It’s a great craft for kids to help with too 🙂
Here are some fun facts about Victoria:
What was the last movie, TV show or book that made you cry or tear up? Probably the last episode of This Is Us.
If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? Pausing time so I could either get 5 minutes of peace and quiet, or an extra few minutes to get things loaded in the car and not always be running so late.
